Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver high-quality service and support customers in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise. You’ll answer questions, share product and warranty information, and help maintain a smooth checkout experience.

The role requires basic education and prior retail/cashier experience, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced home improvement environment. This is a full-time on-site position in Clinton, NC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Retail cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain any required sales licenses if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service through Lowe’s policies and programs.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, and loading merchandise.
• Respond promptly to customer and employee questions and guide them through projects.
• Provide product and warranty information for Lowe’s programs.
• Operate the cash register for sales, returns, and refunds per guidelines.
• Assist with line vesting and opening registers to ensure coverage.
• Prepare and maintain the register area and stock supplies.
• Inspect returned merchandise for damages and manage orders and loading tickets.
• Look up product information and price match if needed.
• Maintain store use lists and perform daily reconciliation duties.
