Position Summary

The Cashier performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the service and dining room area. Responsibilities may vary depending on business needs and client requirements.

• Hourly Rate: 17.20
• Schedule: one weekend a month

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify cash at the beginning of each shift.
• Operate cash register, receive cash, record amounts, and give change.
• Compute bills, make change, cash checks, and issue receipts.
• Control and monitor cash levels in the drawer.
• Prepare transaction reports and verify totals.
• Handle credit card transactions and know product details.
• Process refunds and operate ticket-dispensing machines.
• Complete customer purchases accurately and input items into the register.
• Ensure facility opens 15 minutes prior to meal service and closes securely afterward.
• Practice good sanitation and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in safety training and report accidents or injuries promptly.
• Follow all security, safety, and operational procedures, including security clearance and OPSEC standards.

Qualifications and Requirements
