Job description

Hourly Rate: $21.25

Schedule: TBD

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supervisor provides oversight at the direction of management on site to coordinate routine work activities of workers and/or service employees engaged in food operations or services at military dining facilities. This individual will support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed below, with potential variations depending on business needs and client requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise daily operations to ensure contract compliance.
  2. Ensure all employees, subcontractors, and vendors adhere to contractual and government regulations.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact with the Government, with decision-making authority on contractual matters.
  4. Maintain Quality Control and Safety Programs per contract and regulations.
  5. Manage contract budget and review processes for efficiency.
  6. Schedule personnel, review and approve time cards, and manage inventories.
  7. Set employee expectations, conduct reviews, and implement process improvements.
  8. Conduct Employee Performance Evaluations via payroll system.
  9. Ensure safety standards are followed and provide necessary training.
  10. Analyze and manage AbilityOne Ratio requirements through work scheduling.
  11. Complete and maintain reports related to AbilityOne employees.
  12. Facilitate AbilityOne interviews and coordinate medical documentation.
  13. Prepare reports, inspections, and logs as required.
  14. Provide field information for estimating new or modified work.
  15. Maintain required security clearances and comply with Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  16. Maintain Operations Security (OPSEC) procedures.
  17. Manage Government Furnished Property (GFP) according to Property Control Plan.
  18. Maintain safety and health programs in compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA, DOD, and other applicable standards.
  19. Develop and maintain site-specific Accident Prevention Plans.
  20. Perform additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Required

  • Completion of OSHA 30-hour General Industry course or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to delegate effectively and develop team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality and make decisions under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Solid business acumen.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and wage and hour laws.
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant leadership experience in a multi-location environment.
