Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Cashier to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will greet customers, handle sales transactions, and assist with returns while promoting rewards programs and gift cards.

You’ll also support omnichannel tasks, stock replenishment and inventory processes, maintaining safety and shrink controls. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work with store operations to meet performance standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers delivering excellent service and promoting programs to drive sales.
• Complete checkout processes including returns and re-ticketing; maintain checkout standards.
• Assist with Omnichannel efforts, recovery, put backs and fitting room maintenance; participate in annual inventories.
• Support shrink and safety initiatives and meet performance metrics across the role.
