Cashier

Part‑time position available with a starting hourly rate of $19.50, commensurate with experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate the computerized point of sale system.
• Monitor meal plan transactions to ensure students have appropriate balances.
• Assist in stocking and cleaning throughout dining commons.
• Collaborate with others, including students, and work independently without supervision.
• Assist in supervision and training of student workers.
• Keep all work areas clean, free of debris, and sanitized at all times.
• Provide direction to student staff and maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Oversee the distribution and return of takeout containers and travel mugs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
