Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you will be the face of Sprouts Farmers Market, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing information and resolution for customer inquiries. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed. Maintaining knowledge of weekly ads, guiding customers to products, and communicating effectively with your team are essential. Ensuring checkout areas are clean and orderly, and performing other duties as assigned, are part of your role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Possess an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Capable of performing repetitive activities, multitasking, and staying organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and cash handling skills.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $16.55 - $20.75/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
