Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing information to customers. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting. Maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items, directing customers to products, and communicating effectively with management are essential. Ensuring the checkout area is clean and orderly, and performing other related duties as assigned, are part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Possess an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and excellent customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multitasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force, for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and numerical skills.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $16.55 - $20.75/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
