The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated cases. May prepare perishable items for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and outside the store as directed.
• Operate cash registers, handle payments, give change, and process refunds with approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, record damaged or lost goods, and manage store supplies.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
