You will maintain clean dining areas, restrooms checked hourly, and assist with front-door cleanups to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

This role requires good etiquette, basic math, and strong customer service. Shifts range 20–40 hours per week.

Overview of Tasks:

Represents Shoney's in excellent manner and always remains positive towards our customers. Greets customers and seats customers in a manner that assures floor control, rings up bills using the proper ringing-up procedures for the cash register, takes money and counts change into the customer's hand, handles over and under ring errors, keeps work area clean as well as cleaning the front doors and windows, high chairs, and booster chairs, reports to the Manager when Shoney Bears, maps, Kid's coloring pages, Windex need to be restocked, takes carryout orders by phone or in person, checks men's and ladies' restrooms hourly to make sure they are in proper order and are clean.

Essential Job Functions:

Visual, auditory, full body mobility, hand dexterity, basic reading/language skill, basic writing, good eye contact, good business etiquette, able to count money correctly, make customers feel welcome
