JOB DESCRIPTION

Serves food, beverages, and desserts to customers in a full service fast food restaurant, requests customers order, serves customers in a hospitable and professional manner to insure they are satisfied with their dining experience, rings up and gives customers their bills, monitors food quality, cleans table after customers are gone, completes assigned side work.

Overview of Tasks:

• Serve customers using Shoney’s Signature 10 step procedure.
• Greet customers with a smile.
• Take customers order and assist in answering any questions pertaining to menu the customer might have.
• Call/turn order into kitchen.
• May prepare fountain drinks.
• Serve foods quickly and in a friendly manner.
• Make sure customers have everything they need to complete their meal.
• Give customers their bill.
• Clean assigned station.
• Do assigned side work.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Maintain phone etiquette.
• Assist with salad bar duties when needed.
• Comply with all rules and regulation set forth by Shoney's.

Essential Job Functions:

• Visual, auditory, hand dexterity, full body mobility, basic reading, coordination, friendly smile.
