Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing information to customers. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition. Additionally, you should be knowledgeable about weekly ad items, store events, and seminars, and maintain excellent communication with the front end manager and Head Cashier. All other related duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Possess an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact well with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependability and flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force, for specified durations.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and cash handling skills.
