Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, processing each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling customer cash, credit/debit payments, providing product information, resolving complaints, stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed. You will also maintain knowledge of weekly ads, direct customers to product locations, stay informed about store events, and communicate effectively with your team. Ensuring checkout areas are clean and orderly is essential, along with executing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Display an outgoing and friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and excellent interaction skills with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills; able to take direction and work well in a team.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multitasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force, as specified.
• Attention to detail, proficiency in math and cash handling, and the ability to read, write, and count.
