Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, processing each customer's order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change, providing product information, resolving complaints, and assisting with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed. You will maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, direct customers to product locations, stay informed about store events, and communicate effectively with management. Ensuring checkout areas are clean and orderly, and executing other duties as assigned, are also part of your role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependability and flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills, receptive to feedback, and team-oriented.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and numerical skills.

Pay Range

$15.60 - $19.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
