Key Responsibilities:

1. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at check lanes.
2. Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and loyalty offers according to company policy.
3. Adhere to cash handling limits and work honestly to control loss.
4. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
5. Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
6. Stay current with advertisements and promotions.
7. Follow food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
8. Maintain equipment and notify management of repairs.
9. Create a welcoming environment for customers and assist with product inquiries.
10. Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
11. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
12. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
13. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
14. Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
