Job summary

RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC is seeking a Cash Operations Analyst in Fort Mill, SC. You will support the Cash and Investor Reporting department, handling transaction processing, exception analysis, and governance enhancements to improve customer service and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor daily transactions, analyze data, and collaborate with investors and vendors to optimize internal processes while building a strong team culture and knowledge base.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or 3-5 years’ experience in accounting or financial services related field.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Intermediate MS Office proficiency.
• The ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes.
• Proven data, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information and communicate insights effectively.
• Ability to manage change and navigate company structure.
• Desire to perform operational, analytical and governance related activities.

Responsibilities

• Resolve account and portfolio level issues and maintain SLA-driven exception volumes.
• Ensure loan-servicing systems are configured to support operations for clients and investors.
• Leverage technologies to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Analyze transactional data to identify variances between actual and expected results.
• Conduct analyses to support process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor large transaction volumes daily and assess impact on metrics and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to integrate processes.
• Build relationships with investors, clients, and internal customers for deliverables and inquiries.
• Provide qualitative insights to trends, exceptions, and process deficiencies; assist with new controls.
• Assist with special projects to meet department goals and maintain RPMS compliance.
