Job summary

Lowes Foods in Sanford, NC is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to oversee the fastest and most pleasant checkout experiences by consistently executing our Guest Service Standards and by performing all functions related to sales assets.

In this role you will supervise cash-related activities, prepare deposits and weekly cash reports, process invoices and payments, maintain cashier tills and front-end schedules, and monitor guest service levels while handling occasional training and development

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with others.
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs continuously.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of front-end operations.
• Experience supervising people including training and development.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Good math skills and comfortable using computers.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and handle technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide fast, pleasant checkout experience according to Guest Service Standards.
• Perform all functions related to sales related assets.
• Prepare weekly cash report and accompanying documentation.
• Maintain sales related information.
• Process invoices and transfers.
• Process beer/wine payments.
• Prepare bank deposits according to policy.
• Handle cashier activities and payroll-related processes.
• Ensure accurate daily cash count is completed.
• Process guest needs (money orders, stamps, lottery, etc.).
• Process returned checks according to policy.
• Ensure security of cash office and store funds.
• Maintain cashier tills accountability and supplies.
• Monitor and analyze Operator Activity Reports and perform till audits.
• Maintain daily front-end schedule to ensure guest service level.
