Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to oversee checkout operations and ensure the fastest, most pleasant guest experience through consistent execution of Guest Service Standards.

You will handle cash-related duties, process invoices, deposits, and ensure security of cash office while maintaining accuracy of tills and guest orders. The role involves supervising staff, training, and day-to-day front-end management at the Huntersville store.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of front end operations.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrate successful use of math skills.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise checkout operations and ensure fastest, friendliest guest experience.
• Prepare weekly cash reports and maintain sales information.
• Process invoices, transfers and beer/wine payments as assigned.
• Handle bank deposits and cashier support activities.
• Ensure cash office security and accountability of tills.
• Monitor cashier performance and conduct audits and accuracy checks.
• Maintain daily front-end schedule to meet guest service levels.
• Process guest orders to uphold No Noticeable Wait policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
