Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC seeks a Cashier/Guest Service Supervisor to ensure the fastest and friendliest checkout experience by consistently applying Guest Service Standards. You will manage cash, invoices, and related responsibilities at the front end, including security and performance reporting.

Responsibilities include cash office duties, deposits, payroll support, daily cash count, and guest service tasks to minimize wait times.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with others.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of front-end operations and cash handling.
• Demonstrated math skills and comfort with computers.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sales, cash and invoice accounting tasks including weekly cash report.
• Process invoices, transfers, and beer/wine payments; maintain cash info.
• Prepare bank deposits and support cashier-related activities.
• Oversee payroll check approvals and daily cash count accuracy.
• Process guest needs such as money orders, stamps, lottery tickets, etc.
• Maintain cash office security and cashier tills; ensure supplies.
• Monitor Operator Activity Report and perform audits as required.
• Maintain daily front-end schedule to support guest service levels.
• Process guest orders to ensure No Noticeable Wait policy is followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
