Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field with a strong accounting curriculum.
• 4-7+ years of related professional accounting experience; healthcare industry experience preferred for seniority.
• Strong understanding of cash accounting, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Excel proficiency and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities related to Cash and Accounts Receivable across multiple entities.
• Ensure documentation, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of cash, checks, and investments.
• Manage monthly and fiscal year-end cash and AR accounting activities.
• Perform analysis of patient and pharmacy accounts receivable.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and properly supported.
• Review account activity, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Lead and guide accounting staff; manage priorities in a large healthcare environment.
