Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking an experienced Cash Applications Analyst to manage customer payments, post and reconcile high-volume transactions, and resolve discrepancies. The role requires strong Excel skills, data analysis, and collaboration with AR, Credit, Collections, and Customer Care teams.

Onsite in Clearwater, FL with a 12+ month duration and W2 pay at $19-21/hr. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cash applications or AR, plus experience with large datasets and various payment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Cash Applications or Accounts Receivable experience.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying payment trends and discrepancies.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel advanced features.

Responsibilities

• Process, post, reconcile, and balance high-volume customer payments via lockboxes, ACH, wire, credit cards, PayPal, and Afterpay.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied cash, remittance discrepancies, chargebacks, NSF payments, and ACH returns.
• Process authorized account adjustments, bad debt write-offs, refunds, and payment voids.
• Analyze payment data to identify root causes of reconciliation issues.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, and Customer Care to resolve disputes.
• Support transition from manual to automated digital payment solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve cash application's accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with training and knowledge sharing for junior team members.

We are seeking an experienced Cash Applications Analyst to manage customer payment processing, account reconciliation, and payment discrepancy resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong Cash Applications or Accounts Receivable experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze payment trends and resolve complex financial transactions.

Location: Clearwater, FL. Work Arrangement: Onsite. Duration: 12+ Months. Pay Rate: $19- $21/hr/hour on W2.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent university degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant Cash Applications or Accounts Receivable experience.
• Strong commercial finance experience, ideally 5-8 years.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic data modeling.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying payment trends and discrepancies.
• Excellent reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Accounts Receivable (AR) or Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) experience.
• Experience with high-volume payment processing and multiple payment platforms.
• Knowledge of digital payment gateways, chargebacks, and automated cash application processes.
