Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to lead cash applications, ensuring accurate posting and timely cash activity across the organization.

The role requires strong team leadership, experience in cash operations, and deep knowledge of accounting controls. You will partner with Treasury, Billing, and Finance to enhance accuracy and drive scalable processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience.
• Experience managing and developing high performing teams.
• Experience in cash applications, accounting operations, treasury operations, accounts receivable, or related financial operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day cash applications, oversee payments and postings.
• Ensure cash receipts and disbursements are accurate and timely.
• Manage account reconciliations for cash activity, unapplied cash, aging items, and variances.
• Collaborate with Accounting Operations, Treasury, Finance, Billing, and other business teams to resolve cash issues and improve processes.
• Monitor workflows to identify unusual transactions, control gaps, or delays; lead root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for cash reconciliation and documentation.
• Maintain cash application policies and internal control practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and scalability in a multi-entity environment.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to team members.
