Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wire, credit cards) to appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and ensure accurate posting to customer accounts.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash.
• Collaborate with accounts receivable to address and resolve payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare related reports.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
