Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Cash Posting professional to accurately post payments, denials, and adjustments from ERAs, EOBs, and patient payments. The role requires handling bank lockbox, 835 files, and various payment types while ensuring timely posting and reconciliation.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or equivalent experience and 2 years in cash operations or project management. The position offers full-time hours with a Monday–Friday schedule in Milwaukee, WI.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2 years of experience in project management or cash operations related fields.
• Strong accuracy, detail orientation, and numerical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Post high volumes of payments, denials, and adjustments from ERAs, paper EOBs, and patient payments.
• Apply all payments to patient accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Post non-cash vouchers and manual adjustments with proper documentation.
• Monitor and resolve unapplied cash daily to reduce undistriubed funds.
• Reconcile posted payments with bank deposits and remittance files.
• Route denials for follow-up to appropriate departments.
• Maintain proficiency with integrated payment posting and AR systems.
• Perform routine administrative tasks and uphold policies and standards.
