Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) - Western Region Consolidated Business Office is hiring a Cash Poster to receive, review, and post payments from patients, payers, and lockbox deposits. The role requires meticulous cash posting, daily reconciliation, and resolving unapplied or misapplied payments in a timely manner.

The position is in-office with a hybrid option, working 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Minimum high school diploma and 2+ years in accounts receivable or cash posting are required, with strong

Qualifications

Minimum of high school diploma.
2+ years’ accounts receivable and cash posting experience.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency with Excel and financial systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of EOBs preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, review and post payments from patients and payers.
Post lockbox deposits, EFTs, checks and credit card payments.
Perform daily cash reconciliation with bank deposits and EOBs/ERAs.
Research unapplied or misapplied payments and discrepancies.
Ensure accurate application to patient accounts and claims.
