Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 7+ years in AR or Cash Application with reconciliation and unapplied cash.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams and coaching high-performing staff.
• Knowledge of lockbox, ACH, wire and other electronic payment processing; internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cash application operations, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Lead a team of cash application specialists, setting priorities and driving performance.
• Reduce unapplied cash through proactive monitoring and root-cause analysis.
• Manage month-end close activities, account reconciliations and related reporting.
• Maintain controls, procedures and documentation for audits and SOX compliance.
• Develop and deliver executive reporting and KPIs on cash trends and team performance.
• Drive automation and standardization across the cash application function.
