Job summary

Central Transport, LLC is seeking an ambitious accounts receivable specialist to join our accounting team at our corporate office in Warren, MI. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule during regular business hours.

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Great Plains.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Solid background with Excel, Outlook and Great Plains.

Responsibilities

• Generates accounting statements and reports.
• Researches cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts.
• Prepares daily bank deposit.
• Researches and applies unallocated cash.
• Oversees accounts receivable write-offs and payment reversals.
• Develops automated spreadsheets.
• Organizes and maintains up to date financial records.
• Provides monthly financial and management reports.
