Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in human services preferred.
• 1-3 years in social services or not-for-profit settings preferred.
• Strong communication, confidentiality and data handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake interviews and assess level of need.
• Counsel clients on resources, explain procedures and rights.
• Maintain confidential, accurate case management files.
• Enroll clients in Salvation Army programs and coordinate with partners.
• Prepare reports and manage program statistics.
• Manage inventory, supplies and field office operations.
• Make referrals to services not available in-house and assist with transportation needs.
• Answer phones and emails; process deposits and invoices as needed.
• Drive as an essential function and meet daily operating hours.
