Job summary

The Providencia Group is seeking a Part-time Case Specialist in Weslaco, TX to support the ORR Unaccompanied Children Program. You will perform sponsor screenings, background checks, and documentation review, coordinating with multiple agencies and stakeholders.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish skills, high confidentiality, and strong data management. It includes a hybrid work schedule with possible remote work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; four years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant behavioral science field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive background checks on sponsors and verify eligibility.
• Perform sex offender registry searches to ensure safety standards.
• Process and review Child Abuse and Neglect Registry forms with accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support sponsor screening and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality across records.
• Manage sponsor cases using Zendesk or similar systems and ensure timely updates.
