Job summary

The Providencia Group in Weslaco, TX is seeking a part-time Case Specialist to support federal program operations with ORR and HHS partners. You will perform sponsor background checks, review registry forms, manage cases in Zendesk, and ensure data integrity while coordinating with internal teams.

This role requires a high school diploma with four years’ experience, or a related bachelor’s degree, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and four years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral science preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong confidentiality and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive background checks on sponsors and verify accuracy.
• Perform sex offender registry checks and ensure safety standards.
• Process and review Child Abuse/Neglect registry forms with accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support sponsor screening.
• Manage sponsor cases using Zendesk and keep documentation up to date.
• Upload and organize files across platforms (SharePoint/Word/PDF/Excel).
• Ensure data integrity and compliance across records and reports.
