Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• Four years of professional experience in the program.
• Thorough knowledge of the program's principles, rules and procedures.
• Ability to plan, assign and supervise a casework unit for high performance.
• Ability to analyze case records and advise subordinates on decisions.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports of unit activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a unit of up to 4 case planners and conduct conferences to guide and develop casework skills.
• Evaluate staff performance and maintain appropriate records and controls.
• Conduct structured supervision around compliance and permanency timelines.
• Provide mediation and handle difficult situations with staff and families.
• Coordinate all specialists' contacts into case plans and foster teamwork.
• In absence of a caseworker, cover caseload and ensure continuity.
• Ensure compliance with agency rules and governing body regulations.
• Maintain timely documentation (progress notes, psychosocials, FASPs).
