Job summary

Responsibilities

• Obtains data regarding child’s and family’s social and medical history. Provides case planning.
• Advocates for and obtains appropriate services for the child, including educational, clinical, and recreational services.
• Meets regularly with foster parents to clarify issues, provide and/or obtain concrete and supportive services.
• Monitors the quality of care provided to the child and communicates with the family.
• Engages the child’s family in casework and group work activities aimed at sustaining relationships.
