Job summary

Homes for the Homeless is seeking a Case Manager Supervisor for the Williamsbridge area of Bronx, NY. This full-time role oversees a team of Case Managers, conducts case file audits, and coordinates with community partners to connect families with resources.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, maintaining reports, handling case loads when needed, ensuring timely intakes, and training staff while complying with DHS mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• At least 1-2 years of experience supervising case managers.
• Familiarity with DHS procedures.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Family Services with the day-to-day operation of the department.
• Manage and maintain several departmental reports.
• Ensure case managers refer clients to employment readiness services and research new community resources.
• Carry a case load when there is a staff vacancy.
• Ensure intakes are completed within 48 hours and provide signatures.
• Complete chart audits to ensure compliance with state and city mandates.
• Provide ongoing training and support to case management staff.
• Ensure all State and DHS mandates are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.
