Job summary

BronxWorks seeks a Case Management Supervisor to oversee a team of case managers delivering Homebase services in the South Bronx. You will guide staff in eligibility determinations, ESG/EAF compliance, and documentation while collaborating with landlords, clients, and external partners.

The role emphasizes strong assessment, organization, and communication skills, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential for one remote day per week. A competitive starting salary is offered.

Qualifications

• Completed master's degree required.
• Three to five years of experience providing case management services preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience working in a social service agency preferred.
• Proficiency in modern business communications including personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, facsimile and copier equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review client intakes and determine client eligibility for Homebase services.
• Review cases to ensure ESG/EAF eligibility requirements are met.
• Ensure ineligible clients are referred to appropriate services.
• Ensure client records comply with ESG/EAF guidelines.
• Conduct weekly supervision with staff and complete supervision forms.
• Complete individual monthly reports for line staff.
• Review Financial Assistance Requests and assess risk of clients entering shelter.
• Review and sign all client service plans and documentation.
• Conduct Quality Assurance reviews to meet ESG/EAF standards.
• With Program Director, create disciplinary action plans for underperforming staff.
