Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work and LSW preferred.
• Minimum 2 years applicable social service experience with people in crisis.
• Ability to take initiative and work both independently and with a team.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of homelessness, poverty, substance abuse, mental illness, and criminal history as it relates to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and support services to shelter guests.
• Meet with each guest within 72 hours of intake.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and attend trainings.
• Monitor daily logs and incident reports for guest needs and issues.
• Attend daily staff huddles and scheduled meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
