Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota seeks a Housing Case Manager to deliver case management and housing interventions for families and individuals experiencing homelessness. You will assess needs, connect clients to housing resources, and advocate for stability.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, Harm Reduction and Housing First principles, coordination with partners, and clear communication with participants, providers, and family members to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or equivalent experience in Human Services field required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• At least two years of experience in providing direct or indirect social services required.
• Knowledge of counseling theory and techniques - chemical dependency treatment and physical or sexual abuse treatment is required.
• Knowledge of Harm Reduction and Housing First Model.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to promote a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
• Previous experience with low-income families and homelessness preferred.
