Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking a Case Manager II in San Francisco to work with residents to develop individualized plans and assess ongoing needs. You will help residents identify skills to promote growth and mentor junior staff.

The role is on-site, with a focus on coordinated services, resident empowerment, and program delivery in a busy housing environment. A relevant degree and experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Science or related field required.
• Three (3) years of experience working with homeless or low- and mixed-income populations required.
• Experience in child welfare, family work, substance abuse, and mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet one-on-one with residents to gather needs information and develop individual plans.
• Collaborate with team to maintain building standards and perform wellness checks and inspections follow-up.
• Design and implement daily activities aligned with Mercy Housing's program model.
• Advocate for residents with public aid, social services, and other referrals as needed.
• Develop leadership skills in residents and promote civic involvement.
