Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Case Manager to help applicants and clients access needed services and programs through case management and coordinating activities, to ensure employment goals are met.

You will provide career counseling, assessments, and related assistance to clients; the role requires driving across a multi-county service area and a valid driver's license. The position reports to the Program Services Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in vocational counseling, social work, or psychology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a vehicle for required travel and a valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in workforce development, occupational skills training, case management, career counseling or related field.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and/or Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse population.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs., pass a drug screen and background check upon hire.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and/or overtime, as needed.

Job description

The primary function of a Case Manager is to help applicants and clients (Youth, Adults, and Dislocated Workers) access needed services and programs through case management and other coordinating activities, to ensure employment goals are met. To provide career counseling, assessments, and other related assistance to clients. The Case Manager(s) reports to the Program Services Manager.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program preferably in vocational counseling, social work, or psychology or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must possess a vehicle for required travel and a valid driver’s license.Previous experience in workforce development, occupational skills training, case management, career counseling or related field.Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and/or Excel. Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse population.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Must be highly motivated and people oriented.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate liability insurance with no business exclusion. Must be willing and able to drive throughout a multi-county service area. Some overnight travel is required. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. and be able to pass a drug screen and background check upon hire. The preferred candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and/or overtime, as needed.
