Job summary

Steele County is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to provide professional social services across child protection, vulnerable adults, mental health and related areas. You will develop treatment plans, coordinate services, and collaborate with courts, law enforcement and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective client outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social sciences, social work, or a closely related field and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social sciences, social work, psychology or closely related field
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Review and assess reports of abuse, neglect, and safety concerns for children and adults
• Conduct child protection, vulnerable adult, foster care, and home study assessments
• Provide crisis intervention for mental health emergencies, domestic violence, unsafe housing, and unmet basic needs
• Develop individualized service and detailed care plans; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
• Assist clients in accessing county, state, and federal programs; coordinate ongoing service delivery
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement, courts, medical professionals, community agencies and internal departments
