Job summary

City of Seattle's Seattle Parks and Recreation program seeks a skilled social services professional to provide intensive case management for homeless adults in a one‑year work‑training program. You will build caseloads, advocate internally and with community partners, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing housing, employment, and personal stability.

Role requires crisis intervention experience, strong collaboration skills, and proficiency with data management.

Qualifications

• Three years social services experience involving interviewing, counseling, or crisis intervention.
• Experience developing and implementing treatment plans and working with at‑risk populations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Psychology or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management assistance to homeless adults in a one‑year work‑training program.
• Build and maintain a caseload of approximately 25 to 35 adults per year.
• Develop treatment plans and document all interactions and related items.
• Coordinate with housing, health, mental health, and substance use services to address barriers to housing and employment.
