Job summary

Seattle Parks and Recreation seeks a Social Services Case Manager to support homeless adults in a one-year work-training program. You will develop individualized plans, connect clients with housing, health services, and education, and document progress in the City’s data systems.

Ideal candidates bring at least three years of social services experience, a bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field, and proven skills in interviewing, counseling, and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Three years social services experience involving interviewing, counseling, or crisis intervention.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Psychology or related field.
• Ability to develop treatment plans and coordinate services with partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management assistance to homeless adults in a one-year work-training program.
• Build and maintain a caseload of approximately 25 to 35 adults per year.
• Develop an individual treatment plan addressing housing, employment and personal stability.
• Connect clients to housing, health, mental health, education and employment resources.
• Complete and submit all documentation and grant reporting in a timely manner.
