Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking an energetic Case Manager for the Jeff-Frank NGCC team to support our mission, Changing Lives Through the Power of Work. This hourly, full-time role requires 25% travel and offers the chance to coordinate services and resources to help participants succeed.

You will conduct intake interviews, determine eligibility, maintain participant files, and work with staff to meet performance outcomes in enrollment, graduation, employment, and wage metrics.

Qualifications

• High school/HISET and direct experience in social services required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication, required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews with potential participants, establishing eligibility where appropriate.
• Establish professional relationships and develop/maintain individual service plans.
• Meet performance outcomes in enrollments, graduation rates, employment, average wage, and retention.
• Develop and maintain communication with referring staff and internal team.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of required outcome reporting systems as required by project or grant.
• Maintain participant files with all required paperwork and ensure confidentiality.
• Know community resources for participant needs and make referrals/advocacy.
• Model professional attire/behavior and actively participate in staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school/HISET and direct experience working in the field of Social Services is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication, are required.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews with potential participants, incorporating information given by other involved parties. Establish eligibility, if appropriate.
• Establish professional and ethical relationship, develop/maintain individual plan for services.
• Meet performance outcomes in enrollments, graduation rate, employment, average wage, and retention details.
• Develop and maintain effective communication and working relationships with referring staff and internal team.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of required outcome reporting system as required by project or grant.
• Maintain participant files with all required agency and funding source paperwork and complete all paperwork in a timely manner. Maintain confidentiality according to agency guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources that can be utilized to support participant needs. (i.e. transportation, medical, child care, utilities, etc.). Make referrals, advocate, and follow-up.
• Model workplace appropriate attire, interactions, etc.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, Career Center meetings, and other community activities whenever possible/appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
