Job summary

Northeast Counseling Services (NCS) is seeking a Blended Case Manager to support adults with serious mental illness in community settings. You will identify needs, connect clients to resources, and advocate to promote independence and recovery using a strengths-based approach.

The role offers a flexible schedule within a full-time, 40-hour work week, with benefits including vision, health, and retirement plans, as well as paid time off. Driver's license is required for field-based work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 college credit hours in Sociology, Human Services, Psychology, or related social science field.
• Two years of experience in Human Services with at least 1 year of direct client contact.
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Sociology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with serious mental illness to identify needs and access resources.
• Coordinate services and advocate to increase independence and recovery.
• Provide services in community settings, meeting clients where they live, work, and participate.
• Utilize a strengths-based, recovery-oriented approach to empower clients.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

12 college credit hours in Sociology, Human Services, Psychology, or related social science

Two years of experience in Human Services with 1 year of direct client contact

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Sociology, or related field preferred

The primary goal of this position is to empower clients to identify their needs, access resources, and achieve greater independence through coordinated support and advocacy.
