Job summary

State of Wyoming is seeking a Workforce Specialist to deliver employment and training services through the Cheyenne Workforce Center. You will assess participant needs, determine eligibility, and develop individualized employment plans while coordinating with employers and community partners.

The role emphasizes maintaining records, monitoring progress, and supporting service delivery under federally funded programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Services.
• 0-1 year of progressive work experience (or 3-4 years substituting).
• Ability to manage multiple cases and coordinate across programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management across assigned workforce programs and ensure compliance with program requirements (eligibility, documentation, reporting).
• Interview participants to assess goals, skills, education, work history, and barriers to employment.
• Develop individualized employment/service plans with steps and update as needed.
• Coordinate education, training, work experience, and supportive services as authorized.
• Maintain accurate case notes and ensure timely program reporting.
