Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago is seeking a Case Associate to provide comprehensive client support, intake, assessments, and coordination across programs in Cook and Lake counties. Role Overview

The Case Associate provides comprehensive client support by assisting with intake, assessments, crisis response, case documentation, administrative coordination, resource referrals, community outreach, and collaborative team efforts while continuously developing skills to enhance service delivery and organizational success.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting client intake and assessments, gathering relevant information to support service planning.
  • Help maintain accurate case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Assists with crisis situations and emergencies as needed. Provide administrative support, including not limited to billing tasks, scheduling appointments, managing communications, and coordinating meetings.
  • Facilitate client access to resources and services by providing information and referrals as needed. Participate in outreach activities to promote programs and engage with the community.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and team members as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing learning, training, and skill development, seeking and applying feedback to continuously improve performance and contribute to team and organizational success.

Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day
  • Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs

Education and Experience Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Entry level
  • Spanish Fluency (spoken and written)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree (AA) in a related field of study 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Familiarity with data entry, billing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
Certifications and Licensure
  • Preferred 40 DV training certification, CPR/First Aid certified

$19.35 - $21.50 / hour
