Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a part-time Case Aide to support families experiencing homelessness. You will assist case management, connect clients with crisis intervention resources, and help participants set goals toward stability and self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities include answering questions, linking to community services, accompanying residents to apartment viewings, and helping with records, reports, and site visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in providing direct or indirect social services.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and Motor Vehicle Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist case management personnel to provide services to families experiencing homelessness.
• Provide crisis intervention resources and counseling support; help participants set goals for stability and self-sufficiency.
• Answer client questions and link to community resources; accompany residents to view apartments.
• Maintain client files, records, reports and case notes; assist with funding reports, grant writing and site visits.
