Job summary

Compass Connections seeks compassionate caregivers for our San Antonio facility. This role supports emergency shelter and group home placement for children, focusing on safety, confidentiality, and family reunification. The position requires a high school diploma, 1+ year related experience, and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and pass background checks. We offer full benefits from day one and a comprehensive onboarding.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• 1+ year related experience and/or training required; 2+ years preferred.
• First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications listed as required.
• Provide proof of work eligibility and pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Meet federal/state regulatory guidelines applicable to the position.
• Enter information in Salesforce and UC Portal and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Review Salesforce and UC Portal for compliance with guidelines and standards.
• Maintain confidential information and uphold safety protocols for children and staff.
• Complete records, reports, and statistics per agency policies and licensing requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and workshops for professional growth.
• Address delays in reunification and support case management and medical teams.
