Job summary

Compass Connections is seeking a Unit Manager in San Antonio, TX to supervise direct care staff, coordinate daily operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for our program. You will supervise scheduling, activities for children, and ensure safety and quality of care.

The role requires bilingual Spanish/English abilities, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience; 2+ preferred.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Culturally responsive to service population.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned direct care staff from shift start to relief, ensuring continuity of care.
• Schedule appointments for children and follow up to meet essential needs.
• Adhere to medical/clinical instructions and inform zone supervisor of health-related information.
• Monitor and supervise children's behavior during off-campus activities to ensure safety.
• Document serious incidents, progress, meals, and activities accurately and timely.
