Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level Team Members to support a variety of retail tasks within our store, emphasizing friendly customer service and efficient operations. You will contribute to a welcoming shopping experience and help ensure smooth daily activities.

You will assist with carts, parking lot maintenance, cleaning, and coordination with several departments. The role suits reliable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and value teamwork.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using various equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
