Job summary

Meijer is seeking a dependable cart attendant to help keep shopping carts organized and accessible for customers. You will also assist with parking lot upkeep, trash collection, and basic store cleaning, helping create a positive shopping experience.

The role requires physical stamina, good communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment while coordinating with multiple store departments.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull and bend as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back inside.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to clear snow as needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns and restock as required.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrances, check lanes and parking areas.
