Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members to join the Courtesy Team. You’ll help keep the store orderly, assist customers, and support various departments across the shop floor.

You'll ferry carts, clean areas, manage returns, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. The role offers exposure to multiple retail tasks and opportunities for growth within a large regional retailer.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist when handling products.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• ferry shopping carts from outside the store back inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn and inside store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• This profile covers core duties; other tasks may be assigned.
